FCHS sponsors an annual "Freedom Follies" including a wide variety of local talent. This year's Follies were held at the Grange Hall Saturday, February 3 at 6pm, following the outside activities of "Winterfest" at Springvale Farm. See Below:

One of the local fund-raising projects included a Yard Sale of some of the useable items removed during the cleaning out of Keen Hall. Volunteers included a group of young men from the Mid-Coast Pre-release Center in Belfast.

The Fourth Annual Community Winter Festival, again partnering with the Freedom Recreation Committee, will include numerous outdoor events for all ages and a potluck supper and contra dance. This event will take place February 2, 2019. Final events and places (below) will be updated here and on the Freedom Home Page.

The First Annual Community Tree Lighting drew attention to our restoration project and included a community-building potluck supper and contra dance. This event was so well received that the Second Annual Tree Lighting (along with Pot Luck and Dance) took place Sunday December 9, 2018. See Below
